Beach Volleyball vs. Indoor Volleyball

While similar, these two versions have major differences. Beach volleyball is played with two players per team, while indoor teams have six. The ball is softer and slightly larger in beach volleyball. Indoor courts have a hard surface, while sand courts add an extra challenge. Players in beach volleyball must be more versatile due to fewer teammates. The scoring system is different—beach games are played to 21 points. The wind and sun make beach volleyball more unpredictable. Physical endurance is crucial on sand. Different playing styles are needed for each format. Adapting between both requires practice. Each version has its own unique excitement.
